StepfamilySystems' Support Awareness Ambassadors Team:
.
PURPOSE and OATH: To work independently in our respective fields, while uniting with other service providers to spread the word about the unique, story-forms of support for parents and children of StepfamilySystems.com which increase awareness and enhance  understanding about the inherent and non-visual challanges of blending a family-in-step in a non-confrontational manner; we invite parents, stepparents, educators and family service professionals to visit the stories regularly to use them as tools to facilitate communication; as StepfamilySystems Support Awareness Ambassadors we take a stand against gender-neutral, destructive Parental Alienation behaviors and understand there is a debate about the existence of Parental Alienation Syndrome; we desire to increase awareness of resources, researchers and counseling professionals for seekers of stepfamily and shared parenting support; we agree to network in complementary fashion, not as predatory competitors, with others who are united by this cause - to stop the destruction of sacred parent-child relationships through self-serving, manipulative and maladaptive parental behaviors which are important determinants of childrens emotional health and can derail academic performance; we will acknowledge our sources, give credit where credit is due with the understanding there common discoveries around the world, and we stand together as parent-child advocates doing our part as best we can. 03/23/10 Update. The first quarter of 2010 unfold fast. We are pleased to provide the following requested guidelines to support you as we focus on building the StepfamilySystems' Support Awareness Ambassador's Team! If you don't know it, the acronym TEAM stands for Together Everyone Achieves More. We facilitate connections for service providers and seekers of services. While earning my  Professional Certificate in Philanthropy and Development under the instruction of Dr. Jim Erickson of the Center for Philanthropy at La Sierra University's School of Business last year, he expanded my vision (Thanks, Dr. Erickson!). The original SFSA Team size quadrupled from its original goal so that the SFSA Ambassadors can create a core of local leadership support as they volunteer as well. This makes a great TEAM effort and makes reaching the goal of 10,000 Stepfamily Satisfaction and Parental Alienation Experience Survey responders possible; statistical data is needed to effect change among the beliefs of educators, legislators, and, as reported, we most greatly need to effect change in the broken family law systems around the world.

GOAL: No less than four StepfamilySystems' Support Awareness Ambassadors (SFSA Ambassadors) in every county of the United States by the end of 2012, by this core group SFSA Ambassadors they have support and can organize addtional activities if they so choose to help families create shared memories. One possibility, for example: Organize a county-wide event annually to celebrate National Stepfamily Day.

PURPOSE and OATH: (see top of page)

and we look forward to growing our knowledge of international resources as well. Now, according to usgs.gov, there are 3,141 counties to consider when reaching the population of this great nation. Finding 12,564 people is an aggressive goal, but we believe it can be done. There are many types of service providers - coaches, mediators, therapists, attorneys, clergy and trained laymen. There are many stepfamily members seeking assistance and insights to endure, overcome and succeed the inherent challenges stepfamilies can face. To volunteer to be one of four+ StepfamilySystems (SFS) Amabassadors in your county, please copy and paste the section below into a new Email and a photo to CustomerCare@StepfamilySystems.com.

StepfamilySystems ACES: Attitude, Commitment, Effort and Systems (TM pending) for Ambassadors:
.
1. Attitude - Ambassadors are respresenting hope for stronger parent-child relationships. Your interactions with others should demonstrate you understand the frustrations stepfamilies and shared-parents can face. We demonstrate compassion while not giving in to the lure of negativity. We provide connections to support and hope which empower parents and stepparents to overcome and thrive.
.
2. Commitment - I know this must work within the confines of my existing routine. All I am asked to commit of my time is 30-minutes weekly to seek new and existing providers in my city and county of family services, specifically of those who specialize in the areas of stepfamily and shared parenting challenges. I will also look for chat, support and meet-up support groups like the Facebook Groups BuckEye BonusMoms, Braided Families Stepfamily Group (faith-based), and Enlightened Stepmothers. I can also look for and submit my rating of blogs like CafeSmom based on quality of content, network resources, positivity, and unique quality. Blogs may or may not choose to post the StepfamilySystems' Support Awareness Ambassador Team member's rating. (Submit reviews to CustomerCare@StepfamilySystems.com with your weekly submissions if you have something or solo). I will keep my eyes and ears open to be an encourager of others when appropriate to contribute to a conversation.
.
3. Effort - I need to activate my commitment through "reasonable" activity (we do not want anyone to be burdened by their commitment - keep it enjoyable!). My primary activity is to contact school districts in my county, with awareness of my fellow ambassadors' activities, to request a copy of their list of school psychologists, or any school-based approved resources they are willing to provide under their school district's heading for the StepfamilySystems.com collaborative, referral data base. Then, as able, I will personally network with others in my community (Legal Clinics, Moms groups - live or online, Church groups, etc.) and submit findings to CustomerCare@StepfamilySystems.com for the collaborative, referral data base. I will be present at local and county events when I want extra excitment and networking opportunities.
.
4. Systems - Be organized. I will use a calendar so that I will not place unnecessary stress into my day. I can schedule these once-weekly 1/2-hours blocks of time at the same time, on the same day weekly, if that works well for me. I will schedule other activities only when I am confident I can follow through and enjoy what I have committed to. My attitude, commitment, effort and follow up are a reflection of StepfamilySystems.com commitment to collaborative efforts to improve the quality of post-divorce or post split parent-child relationships.
.
Your "4-S" Guidelines:
1) Shine like the star you are for your stepfamily-community service: reflect hope and enthusiasm with a positive attitude as you help those you interact with see the importance of collaborative efforts to help stepfamilies and shared-parenting families succeed.
2) Sense your need for confidentiality and use this position with professionalism and not for fishing for personal gain or favors.
3) Support your fellow Ambassadors. E-mail, call and create a community as you share ideas to support and encourage each other.
4) Submit to your limitations. Reaching beyond what are able to do well will compromise the effectiveness of this role as well as adversely impacting you personal life. This role has been created to fill a very important need, the need to create awareness and increased access to support. This also includes not portraying yourself as anyone other than who you are. If you a service professional, be clear about what you do - this does open doors of opportunity to increase your business whatever that might be. If you are an at-home mom volunteering to support other moms by gathering information and offering , be proud to represent yourself as such! Raising the next generation is the single most important full-time job there is, in my humble opinion (I have been a home-based working mom most of my adult life.)
