Stepfamily Systems welcomes you!

Step Family Focal Points for shared-parenting success in and between your child's households.
Welcome to the neighborhood. We'll be your Alice.
.

StepfamilySystems.com brand of unique support provides stepfamily tips and blended family help to the single parent, remarried mom or dad and stepparent co-raising children with parents in two places. Are you: getting ready to have a blended-family wedding, seeking help for parenting in a  stepfamily? Having difficulties co-parenting between households after divorce? A single parent whose ex-wife or ex-husband is interrupting your relationship with the children? Do you have concerns regarding joint custody because you fear child neglect or abuse when the children are not with you? Do you have stepchildren who do not like you or whose behavior you do not like? Just plain tired of things as they are today?
.
About us and how we can help you:
.
StepfamilySystems.com facilitates connections and publishes a unique support venue called A Richter Blend, Stepfamily Chronicles - exclusively in Step Family Focal Points Corner, where Recourse resides. The Chronicles are entertaining prime-time type stories following single parents, remarried and stepparents and blended-families in the fictitious town of Port Hills. After episodes, tips are provided by a team of stepfamily service professionals for readers to consider, as applicable to their own shared parenting situations. The Brady Bunch television show from the 70's did not have former spouses in the picture but they did have Alice to help problem solve and keep the peace.  Welcome to the Port Hills neighborhood - we'll be your Alice. In addition to the A Richter Blend, Stepfamily Chronicles, you will find support on our "It's A Journey Q & A / Blog" page, and specialty planning services designed to reduce stress and increase peace. These are designed to translate into stronger marriages, improve academic performance in children who might be distracted learners and to reduce at-risk behaviors.
.
"Adults leading stepfamilies typically spend more time planning a birthday party than how they will blend and manage shared-parenting effectively. For some reason, we tend to think it will just come together on its own with time," says Powe who is certified in divorce mediation and Creative Director of the series. The self-help with expanded support options found here open the doors to customized stepfamily help and keeps cost under control.  Many less informed parents will use the legal system like it is a lion's whip in their hands. The problem is the hands blister and rip open while striking - that is not to say there are not appropriate times to litigate.  Many end up in financial and remarriage ruins because they did not seek* information about the benefits/drawbacks to other viable sources of help with conflict resolution. While Stepfamily Assimilation and Shared Parenting Management (SAM) Planning essentially creates the link for many stepcouples** between saying "I do, always and forever" vs. "I don't anymore, I want a divorce", it is sound planning for co-parenting biological and stepparents.
 .
Wherever you are in your stepfamily journey, a commitment to the specialized planning found here can save thousands in court and legal representation fees by reducing the risks that lead to litigation. It also increases satisfaction with stepfamily living by simplifying what is often a complex, multi-household lifestyle.  StepfamilySystems.com is actively participating in stepfamily satisfaction research as well as the controversial topics of Parental Alienation and  Divorce-related Malicious Mother Syndromes.  Before leaving the site, we ask you to copy and paste the survey option to your left into an email and return it today. Your participation invitation is your chance to sound-off, sharing both the enjoyable and unpleasant aspects of the shared parenting experience for a current report going to other researchers, legislators, educators and families.

  2.  The Corner facilitates stepfamily assimilation and [shared parenting] management (SAM) planning in three sessions annually, without an additional subscription fee. Our products' outdated, 1990 look is being refreshed by an intern at The Art Institute, Inland Empire, campus. You can login anytime it is convenient for you - no appointment needed. Products are not requited. However, for maximum results we recommend you have your own copy of the  course notebook and the communication help products (Family Selections Menus).   Pre-release pricing is available until the final, updated products are finished. Projected date falls between March and June.
  3. Additionally, we give 12% of subscription funds to families and teachers. The first four percent of subscription fees go into a fund to support other stepfamilies. See the Stepfamily Straight Talk Foundation page for and overview of development. We are saving for the foundation's 501 (c) 3 status. In this economy, it is a slow process, but one we are committed to see coming to fruition! The remaining eight percent is directed by subscribers to go either to a school-based teachers fund, paid out annually to each school or to support other stepfamilies by combining it with the first four percent's foundation funding.
  4. You have access to expert articles from other contributors comprised of therapists, coaches, mediators, estate and family law attorneys, financial planners and more. The more your Step Family Focal Points Corner community grows, the more we will be able to bring you.
  5. Family Focal Point Corner subscribers save up to 25% on select StepfamilySystems.com services and products. We are working on acquiring additional, meaningful discounts for you and your family nationwide.

  • *seek, per Webster's Third New International Dictionary (2002), are you ready? This is important. Seek, sought, seeking 1) to follow or advance against in order to attack; pursue 2) to resort to, to go to 3) to go in search of, look for 4) to inquire for, ask for  5) aim at  6) to make an attempt  7) try  8) archaic: to have recourse. So, what is recourse? It is turning to someone or something in search of help, support, protection or safety.
